Moving Towards a Greener Future

Eco Materials
We prioritise eco-conscious design by incorporating recycled fabrics whenever possible. Our Cruise Lite models feature laser-etched graphics, reducing material waste and eliminating the need for harmful dyes. Plus, every T-shirt is made from 100% recycled materials, ensuring that sustainability is stitched into everything we create.

Longevity
Our boards are crafted with longevity in mind, promising a lifetime of adventures. This commitment not only minimizes waste ending up in landfills but also enhances the potential for boards to be cherished second-hand by more paddlers. It's our way of ensuring that every board brings lasting joy and less environmental impact.

Carbon Footprint
Reducing our carbon footprint is a core commitment. From sustainable sourcing to eco-friendly production methods, we're continuously improving our processes to minimise environmental impact. We’re always exploring new ways to cut emissions and make paddleboarding a greener adventure.

Our Approach
Our Bluefin team's environmental passion influences everything we do, from design to marketing. This commitment leads to impactful decisions supporting our sustainability goals, like beach clean-ups, second-hand board sales, and using recycled materials. These efforts collectively push us towards a greener future.

Packaging
If you’ve bought anything from us recently, you’ll know that we’ve reduced the amount of plastic we use to package our products. Our entire range of boards and paddles is now elegantly packaged in recycled paper, significantly reducing our reliance on single-use plastics. We’re continuing to phase out any remaining plastic used in the process and aim to be 100% plastic free in the next five years.

Our Community
Sustainability is a collective effort. That’s why we actively support beach clean-ups, waterway conservation, and environmental education. Through community initiatives, we encourage paddlers to respect the water, reduce waste, and leave nature better than they found it. Join us in making a positive impact!
Eco Impact Partners

We're thrilled to announce our collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage, a dynamic organisation at the forefront of, the battle for clean water the fight against plastic pollution, and the restoration of our precious oceans. Together, we are embarking on a mission to safeguard marine ecosystems, preserve the beauty of our coastlines, and ensure the well-being of both present and future generations.

Through this groundbreaking partnership, we've taken a bold step towards environmental sustainability by committing to plant a tree in some of the world's most endangered habitats for every board sold! To date we have planted an astounding 100,000 trees. These trees are now taking root in critical regions such as Madagascar, Kenya, and Uganda, where the urgent need for reforestation is undeniable.

We are partnered with Clearcycle, a reverse logistics company. Any products they receive that aren’t in mint condition and capable of resale are refurbished and sold. This process has multiple benefits. Firstly, it helps to prolong the lifespan of the product and reduces environmental impact by keeping it out of landfill. Secondly, it drives the future of a circular economy, where manufacturer waste is kept to a minimum.
