What To Consider

User Weight And Height

We try not to overcomplicate the sizing of our SUPs. There’s no exact science to matching a board to your size and weight and there are exceptions to the rule, but as a rule of thumb – then if you’re under 6′ & below 85kg then you should go for a 10'4" or 10’8″. If you’re over 6′ & 85kg – then a 12" is usually ideal. If you want even more length & width, then the 15′ tandem works perfectly as a solo option, as well as taking tandem.

What To Consider

Who's On Board

When choosing your SUP, consider your crew. You want to maintain a size of board you can control whilst having enough space for more people or pets to join you. If you regularly want to take your pups or kids along for the ride, then you may want to go for a slightly bigger board than you normally would. Refer to the maximum weights for each board & you’ll be fine. Naturally, some performance & sturdiness will be compromised with extra bodies on board, but our ultra-rigid SUPs will still take the weight.

Solo Paddlers

For solo excursions we have our agile 9'8" to the spacious 12' boards. For those of lighter weight, our Cruise range offers a variety of sizes tailored to solo paddlers. Meanwhile, adventurers needing a sturdier board to support additional weight or cargo will find our Carbon range in the same size to be the ideal choice.

A Small Crew

For those adventures with a SUP pup or children, opting for boards that are 10'8" and larger is usually the way to go, ensuring ample space for everyone to relax and paddle comfortably. Depending on the combined weight and height of your crew, paddlers often gravitate towards a 10'8" or 12" board for these shared journeys.

A Large Crew

The 15' tandem board, part of our Cruise and Cruise Carbon range, is built for you and your paddle partner, featuring space for two kayak seats. Perfect for duo adventures, just check the specifications for max user weights to find your match. If you're looking for a water party, our mammoth party SUP welcomes up to 8 adventurers.
